Welcome to the first Solar Home Energy WordPress blog.
To give you a bit of an insight into what were all about , the Solar Home Energy’s mission is to make the best in solar home energy technology available in the UK at affordable prices . In the face of spiralling fossil fuel bills, we believe that this will both help safeguard the future of our planet and help our customers reduce their home energy costs.

We are proud to say that thousands of people are already cutting their Carbon Footprint with our solar energy evacuated tubes. Throughout the UK our Solar Home Energy systems are already saving over 1000 tonnes of harmful carbon emissions a year.

The production and use of energy causes 83 per cent of overall UK greenhouse gas emissions, and 90 per cent of carbon dioxide emissions.

A solar hot water system on a typical house saves in the region of 400kgms, or half a tonne, of CO2 emissions a year.

If every house of the 20 million houses in the UK had a solar hot water system, then we would save around 8,000,000 tonnes of CO2 a year from the UK.

At the 2005 G8 Summit, reports indicated that UK emissions had actually gone up by 8%. Therfore government building regulations aim to reduce CO2 emissions by around 2,800,000 tonnes… and this will affect everyone.

Mankind has the greatest challenge of its life as the very processes that created our civilisation are changing our planet’s atmospheric gas balance.

We really want to help make a difference, help our future generations.

Other Companies in our Group include:

Warmroof Systems Ltd

We can show you much more about our solar hot water system, and have lots of information available online at www.solarhomeenergy.co.uk.

Please keep checking back to our blog, as we will be posting information about our company and events that we will be attending, as well as information about our chosen charity NSPCC, and updates on related news articles.
